63 Car Club Monthly Update
Welcome to this month’s club update. Following on from last month’s newsletter, this email will hopefully keep you updated with the club’s latest news as we look to return to running club level events.

September Autotest – Dallachy – 6th September
The club’s first event following the coronavirus shutdown will be the September Autotest. Regulations for the event are attached to this email and those wishing to enter can do so by clicking on the following link: https://forms.gle/fZsaXRnvM1GjtqKt5. If you have any concerns about entering then please do get in touch with a member of the committee. As a club we are committed to running a safe event during these times and adhering to both Scottish Government and Motorsport UK guidelines. More information on the precautions and changes that will be implemented, along with more information on the new timing app, will be sent to competitors in their final instructions.

Bob Miller Navigational Rally
Unfortunately we have had to postpone the Bob Miller Navigational Rally, which was due to run on September 11th. The club committee felt it was too soon to organise a navigational rally while still relying on changes to the Scottish Government advice on both sharing cars and hiring halls in the weeks before the event. Social distancing and interaction pose some issues too.

Speyside e-Stages Rally
This weekend will see gamers take part in a virtual Speyside Stages Rally ran online using the DiRT 2.0 Rally game. Over 80 gamers are set to take part in the nine stages. If you are interested in a late entry contact Alan Scott (alan6r4@hotmail.co.uk). The first leg of two stages must be completed by tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 8am.

Golf Outing
Doug Shanks has organised an informal golf outing next Saturday (22nd). If you are interested in going please let Doug know as soon as possible. All abilities of golfers are welcome. Doug’s email address is dougshanksjoinery@mac.com.

Lossie Navigational Rally Event
Attached to this email is a reminder of the tabletop navigational rally that David Law has put together. David has extended the closing date until next weekend for those wishing to complete the event, which is just for a bit of fun, before sending their completed event card back to David for checking.

North East Scotland Motorsport Club
Unfortunately the 2020 NESMC championship has been cancelled. This is due to a high number of event cancellations and the uncertainty over the remaining events on the calendar. The NESMC committee felt that as motorsport restarts across the area, member clubs would all be moving at a different pace due to regional and venue constraints.
