Do you have 12-16 hours per week available?
Do you have an interest in Motorsport or Karting?
Are you comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, data-entry, social media, web-sites, etc?
Do you enjoy meeting members of the public both face-to-face and speaking to them on the telephone?
Can you represent our company in a pleasant, polite and friendly manner?
If you can answer yes to all (or most) of the above, Turner Autosport Ltd has a vacancy for someone to help out in our Motorsport & Karting shop based in Strathaven and you might be the person we're looking for.
The hours are flexible to suit you as well as the needs of the business and there may be more on offer as/when required. The job meets NMW and school leavers/students are welcome to apply.
Knowledge of car and/or kart parts as well as the relevant MSA legislation covering both sports would be beneficial although this is not compulsory as full training will be given..
As well as admin & general shop duties, for those with a mechanical interest, there is also the opportunity to offer support to our race team at events throughout the UK. This may require overnight stays at tracks around the country (for which transport, accommodation & food would of course be provided). This part of the job might suit someone interested in an engineering/mechanical or motorsport career as it could provide valuable experience (as well as looking good on your CV!).
If interested, please send CV's with a hand written covering letter to:
Turner Autosport Ltd,
Unit 6B Caledonia Road,
Strathaven, ML10 6AX.
Closing date for applications is Friday 7th July.
